Deep Space 9

The U.S.S. Prospero has been attacked by unknown forces whilst transporting the Nadiqi Ambassador back to his homeworld during the final stages of the Nadiqi's admittance to the Federation.

Why was the Prospero attacked? Why are the Nadiqi pushing so hard for Federation membership? Why is the Federation rushing through the Nadiqi's member application? Why does the Federation feel the Nadiqi are so important that they're prepared to overlook the Nadiqi's skeletons in the closet?

This mission contains equal amounts of space and ground combat and possesses enough dialog to allow for good story telling without becoming too bogged down in reading. Owing to the number of elements in some maps some people with slower graphics cards may encounter slight frame rate drops in certain parts of the mission.

I have listed some elements of the mission outline as "unspecified" to keep parts of the mission a surprise.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

The player is summoned to Deep Space 9 to investigate an attack on a Federation starship by a radical faction. The starship was carrying Ambassador Hahkhaaran, the ambassador of a planet in the final stages of gaining admittance in to the Federation.

By following a trail of breadcrumbs the player will slowly start to discover that the planet in question, Nadiq, has somehow managed to have their application for membership sped up and that this has angered certain peoples, but not for the reasons one might immediately think.

During this multi-part story the player will need to discover the true motives and relationships of all parties involved in order to solve the mystery of the planet Nadiq.
