Fleet Experimental Science Vessel
39,600 (Level 60)
The Fleet Experimental Science Vessel is a Vice Admiral (Tier 6) level Federation Science Vessel. Players can obtain the vessel through any Shipyard for 20,000 and 5 , as long as the player's Fleet has a Tier III Fleet shipyard.
Description[edit | edit source]
The original Dauntless class science vessel, discovered by the crew of the Voyager, was actually alien in origin. It featured Quantum Slipstream Drive technology, which was groundbreaking at the time, but ultimately this ship was created using Particle Synthesis to fool and trap the crew of the Voyager. In 2410 the blueprints for the original alien starship were closely examined and Starfleet Engineering Corps were able to re-create this impressive science vessel.
The Fleet Experimental Science Vessel has been specifically designed to support your Fleet. Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Console slot.
Variants[edit | edit source]
Dauntless class[edit | edit source]
Sleek and bullet-shaped, Dauntless class is roughly half the size of Voyager. Although created by alien technology, the ship was modified to resemble Federation starships on the interior and exterior by the means of particle synthesis. In 2410, Starfleet Engineers created the Experimental Science Class based on its design.

Abilities[edit | edit source]
Hyper Advanced Quantum Slipstream Drive[edit | edit source]
The Hyper Advanced Quantum Slipstream Drive ability allows the Fleet Experimental Science Vessel to travel at Warp 23 for 60 seconds instead of the normal 30 seconds in sector space, and with twice the turn rate.
Subsystem Targeting[edit source]
The Fleet Experimental Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Sensor Analysis[edit source]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Specialization Seating[edit | edit source]
The Fleet Experimental Science Vessel features one specialist seat: 1 Lieutenant Science/Intelligence seat.
Standard configuration[edit | edit source]
Starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
