Fleet Engines are Impulse Engines with special innate qualities and/or modifiers that are available for requisition through the Fleet Starbase and Fleet Colony World. They are purchased at Ultra Rare quality, but can be upgraded like standard Engines.

Advanced Fleet Impulse Engines are similar to standard impulse engines, but come already at Ultra Rare quality with 4 modifiers. They also have an innate maximum warp speed of 12, rather than 10.

These impulse engines are available from a Fleet Starbase with an Industrial Fabricator at Tier II. They each cost 10,000 Fleet Credits 10,000Refined dilithium icon. The Dilithium Store Discounts from the Fleet Dilithium Mine apply to these purchases; with Dilithium Store Discount III, the Dilithium cost is reduced to 8500Refined dilithium icon.

Fleet Efficient Engines use the latest technology to increase the ship's weapon, shield, and auxiliary power levels. This bonus increases at lower power levels.

Elite Efficient Engines are variants of the Advanced Impulse Engines: they exchange 1 [Spd] or [Turn] modifier (whichever the item had 3 of) for a [Pow] modifier that boosts Weapon, Shield and Auxiliary Power.

These impulse engines are available from a Fleet Starbase with an Industrial Fabricator at Tier II. They each cost 14,000 Fleet Credits 15,000Refined dilithium icon. The Dilithium Store Discounts from the Fleet Dilithium Mine apply to these purchases; with Dilithium Store Discount III, the Dilithium cost is reduced to 12,750Refined dilithium icon.

Fleet Protomatter Engines improves[sic] your ship's Shield Hardness depending on your throttle setting. The higher your throttle setting, the more of a bonus you get. Reversing does not impart penalties.

Like the Starbase Engines, Elite Efficient Protomatter are variants of the Starbase's Advanced Impulse Engines: they exchange 1 [Spd] or [Turn] modifier (whichever the item had 3 of) for a [Shard] modifier that boosts your Shield Resistance.

These impulse engines are available from a Fleet Colony World with Renewable Energy at Tier IV. They each cost 14,000 Fleet Credits 15,000Refined dilithium icon. The Dilithium Store Discounts from the Fleet Dilithium Mine apply to these purchases; with Dilithium Store Discount III, the Dilithium cost is reduced to 12,750Refined dilithium icon.
