Despite being rare quality, this armor actually has stats identical to a [Polyalloy Weave Armor Mk * [Pla]x4] of the same Mk level, making it quite endgame-capable at Mk XI.

In-game Description

Exo-plating armor is comprised of the armor plates worn by a typical Borg Drone. It is an enhanced version of Polyalloy Weave Armor which provides a good protection from physical attack and extra protection from plasma energy attacks.
