Eclipse Intel Cruiser
49,000 (Level 60)
The Eclipse Intel Cruiser is a Vice Admiral (Tier 6) level Federation Cruiser. Players can obtain the vessel from the C-Store individually for 3,000 , or as part of the Delta Operations Pack for 15,000 .
Overview[edit | edit source]
The Eclipse Cruiser is quite nimble for a starship of its class, it sacrifices little structural integrity for this benefit. it features a Cloaking Device and Active Sensor Arrays. The former allows the starship to cloak while not in combat, and the latter allows intel craft to gather information about their target to expose a vulnerability in their defenses.
Designed to conduct covert missions and intelligence-gathering in hostile space, the Eclipse's basic hullform is both essentially similar to, yet dramatically different from, the classic profile of Starfleet cruisers.
In its standard configuration Eclipse bears the familiar combination of a saucer-shaped primary hull with outboard warp nacelles attached by slender pylons. However the forms of the hull, nacelles and pylons are designed to minimize the ship's visibility to enemy sensors and even the naked eye.
The saucer and nacelle shapes are flattened, with thin edges and tapered angles. Like the Heavy Cruiser, the Eclipse's secondary hull is blended with the primary saucer, housing the main deflector along the ventral surface of the saucer. Four flattened, low-profile warp nacelles attach at close angles to short pylons at the rear of the secondary hull. Weapon hardpoints are blended into the hull surface, and translucent panels on the surface of the saucer show instruments to coordinate the data relayed from the Eclipse's active sensor probes, which launch from a small bay located in the secondary hull.
The ship's default hull material (Intel) is black, with no visible windows, rendering the Eclipse difficult to see against the background of space, if not for thin, blue running light strips. Other window options and hull material selections can brighten the ship's profile and light the windows, which are mainly located along the Eclipse's secondary hull.

Abilities[edit | edit source]
Universal Console[edit | edit source]
The Eclipse Intel Cruiser comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Structural Integrity Field Siphon].
Active Sensor Arrays[edit source]
As an Intelligence starship, the Eclipse Intel Cruiser is capable of deploying an Intel sensor drone with the Gather Intelligence ability.
While the target is Vulnerable, one of three Expose Vulnerability abilities can be used. These powerful abilities find a critical weakness in the targeted foe and allow players to briefly exploit it.
- Expose Vulnerability: Critical Systems
- Expose Vulnerability: Defenses
- Expose Vulnerability: Weapon Systems
Intelligence vessels also have a built-in passive ability which renders them undetectable at long range.
The Eclipse Intel Cruiser has a cloak that allows the ship to cloak when not in combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Cruiser Commands[edit | edit source]
As an Intel Cruiser, this ship supports the following cruiser commands.
