The Federation Yamato Dreadnought Cruiser is a playable (Tier 6) Vice Admiral-level Dreadnought Cruiser. This vessel can be obtained from the C-Store for 3000 Zen small icon.png, or as part of the cross-faction dreadnought bundle for 6000 Zen small icon.png.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The Tier 6 Yamato Class Dreadnought Cruiser was built for battle with the Federation's current enemies in mind. It was heavily influenced by the advances made in the Andromeda Class Exploration Cruiser's design and has incorporated its state of the art systems to create a truly formidable starship.

This vessel comes with the Yamato-class costume, and it enables a discount for purchasing its fleet variant. It can utilize the Command bridge officer powers and other abilities described below.

Alternative Variants[edit | edit source]

Class Information
Federation Dreadnought Cruiser.png
The Galaxy class was refitted at the turn of the 25th century, after the collapse of the Khitomer Accords in 2399. In response to increased hostility with the Klingons, the newly redesigned ship carries a cloaking device and a devastating spinal lance weapon.

The ship is an alternate reality version of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "All Good Things...".

The Galaxy class skin is unlocked for free.

Monarch class Dreadnought.png
Though similar in layout to the Galaxy, the Monarch Class takes on harder edges, banked nacelles, and other structural changes throughout the spaceframe, incorporating lessons learned from its older siblings' 50 years of service.

The Monarch class skin is unlocked for free.

Federation Dreadnought Cruiser (Venture).png
The Venture class (a refit of the Galaxy class) is available from the C-Store for 1500 Zen small icon.png in the form of the Exploration Cruiser Refit, and unlocks an additional skin for the Dreadnought Cruiser. The Venture class refit shares the sleeker lines of more modern classes such as the Sovereign.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Universal Consoles[edit | edit source]

The Dreadnought Cruiser (T6) comes equipped with the Supplemental Subsystems console, which is part of the Starfleet Maneuvering Protocol Set.

The Yamato can also equip other items from the same set - a cloaking device from the Dreadnought Cruiser, and the saucer separation console from the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit.

Cruiser Commands[edit | edit source]

As a dreadnought cruiser, this ship supports the following cruiser commands:

Hangar Bay[edit | edit source]

This starship has a single hangar bay equipped with Type 8 Shuttles. These shuttles are armed with Phaser Beam Arrays.

Carrier commands[edit source]

Phaser Spinal Lance[edit | edit source]

The Yamato-class Dreadnought Cruiser comes with a built-in Phaser Spinal Lance. This is a devastating weapon that deals phaser damage to foes. The Romulan counterpart is equipped on the Kara Advanced Warbird and the Klingon counterpart is equipped on the Kolasi Siege Destroyer.

Specialization Seating[edit | edit source]

The Yamato-class Dreadnought Cruiser features one specialist bridge officer seat:

  • Lieutenant Commander Engineering-Command Lieutenant Commander Engineering-Command

Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]

Federation starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Scaling starship[edit source]

This starship's equipment slots, base hull capacity and shield capacity scale as your level increases.

Equipment slots[edit source]

As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, and science console slots will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:

Level Console tac icon.png Console eng icon.png Console sci icon.png Fore weapons Aft weapons
0-9 1 3 0 2 2
10-19 2 3 1 3 2
20-29 2 4 1 3 3
30-39 3 4 2 4 4
40+ 3 5 2

Hull strength[edit source]

This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.333333 for the Yamato-class Dreadnought Cruiser), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.

Hull scaling table
Level Multiplier Hull HP Level Multiplier Hull HP Level Multiplier Hull HP Level Multiplier Hull HP
0 1 13333 20 2 26667 40 3 40000 60 4 53333
5 1.25 16667 25 2.25 30000 45 3.25 43333 65 4.5 60000
10 1.5 20000 30 2.5 33333 50 3.45 46000
15 1.75 23333 35 2.75 36667 55 3.725 49667

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The Yamato-class is likely named after the U.S.S. Yamato, a Galaxy-class starship that was lost in 2365 after suffering a warp core breach caused by a virus transmitted from an Iconian Probe.
