The Destroyer Escort is a small escort and a common sight in the Nausicaan fleet. It is dwarfed by all the other Nausicaan ships, except the Stinger Fighter.

Structure

Unlike most Nausicaan ships, the Destroyer Escort is horizontally oriented, and resembles a horseshoe crab more than the fish that other Nausicaan ships resemble.

The Destroyer Escort bears a passing resemblance to the Nausicaan raiders used during the 22nd Century.
