Common Borg Shield Tech is available from the Normal Special Task Force mission “Infected”.

The Common Borg Shield Tech is part of a collection of Common Borg Techs that can be used to obtain Roxy/Veteran Requisitions (Mk X) for the M.A.C.O. (Space), Omega Force (Space), and Honor Guard (Space) ship equipment sets.
Each piece, Engine, Shield, and Deflector can be requisitioned for 20 Encrypted Data Chips or 1 of the corresponding Common Borg Techs (i.e. Common Borg Engine Tech allows you a Recruit Engine Requisition, Common Borg Shield Tech allows you a Recruit Shield Requisition, and Common Borg Deflector Tech allows you a Recruit Deflector Requisition).
These items can be turned into requisitions via the Requisition Officer on DS9 located in the Omega Force Pavilion on the Promenade.
