Bozeman, Montana is a historic site on Earth where the Phoenix (humanity's first warp-capable ship) was launched by Doctor Zefram Cochrane on April 4, 2063. Subsequent to the flight, a passing Vulcan ship landed and made first contact - humanity's first official encounter with alien life. That day is thus celebrated as First Contact Day with ceremonies occasionally held in Bozeman.

- “First Contact Day Re-Enactment”: A rocket building contest is held in a reenactment of building the Phoenix from scrap parts.
- “One Night in Bozeman”: The player returns to the day before First Contact in 2063 to help protect Cochrane from the Borg.
