Bio-Molecular Phaser Turret is a Phaser-based directed energy damage weapon available for starships. Turrets fire a series of pulses across a 360° arc, which has the widest firing arc, but the lowest damage output of standard energy weapons. Their damage will fall off with distance to the target.

Bio-Molecular Phaser space weapons have a chance to knock a single subsystem offline for several seconds, to reduce the target's flight speed and to cause a minor amount of radiation damage on the target enemy after a period of incubation.
Note: Damage dealt by incubation cannot be increased using consoles or other abilities.

Obtained

Bio-Molecular Phaser weapons can drop from the [Undine Equipment Requisition] crate, or they can be purchased from the Tier IV 8472 Counter-Command reputation store for 22,500 Refined dilithium icon.

Modifiers

Rare Bio-Molecular Phaser weapons will have one modifier suffix, Very Rare will have two, and Ultra Rare will have three. The additional proc can be considered the missing modifier. Epic adds a fourth unique modifier.

Standard Modifiers: Can appear multiple times (e.g. [Acc]x2, [CrtH]x2, etc.)

  • [Acc]: +10 Accuracy Rating
  • [CrtD]: +20% Critical Severity
  • [CrtH]: +2% Critical Chance
  • [Dmg]: +X Damage

Epic Modifier: All energy weapons upgraded to Epic quality receive:

  • [Ac/Dm]: +10 Accuracy Rating and +X Damage
  • Re-engineering options: [Ac/Dm], [Ac/CrtD], [Ac/CrtH], [CrtD/Dm], [CrtH/CrtD], [CrtH/Dm].
