Bajorans are intensly religious people who worship the Prophets; the aliens who reside in the Bajoran Wormhole. The Bajorans fought a long guerilla war against the Cardassian occupation of their world for several decades before their liberation. In the aftermath of the Dominion War, they joined the Federation.
