Variations[edit | edit source]

This assignment is part of the Research Assignment (c. 23rd Century) - (Unspecified) chain.

Requires[edit | edit source]

Outcome[edit | edit source]

Final outcome: Success

Your team successfully managed to avoid notice by the indigenous lifeforms, which have proven problematic in the past. Sadly, the Tellarite artifact can be considered a minor historical curiosity at best. Still, the Tellarite planetary council will be pleased to see its return, and your away team was the first away team on this planet to not suffer fatalities.

Final outcome: Breakthrough!

Your team successfully managed to avoid notice by the indigenous lifeforms, which have proven highly violent in the past. The cultural significance of the Tellarite artifact was understated in the Demeter's logs; this is one of the few surviving copies of the original documentation outlining the establishment of their planetary council. Tellar Prime will be ecstatic to have this returned, and has already begun preparations for a celebratory holiday in its honor.
