Assignment: Advanced Scouting Party - Allied Frontier (Subspace Fields)
- Critical Success: 2%
- Success: 48%
- Failure: 48%
- Disaster: 2%
Summary[edit | edit source]
The region of the Sphere in this direction is showing strange subspace distortions throughout, and is fairly devoid of Voth patrols. A team of explorers may be able to determine the origins of these distortions, if given time to study them up close.
Variations[edit | edit source]
This assignment is of a special low priority interact type. It will only show up in the Ion Stream neighborhood of the allied zone.
Requires[edit | edit source]
- 1 x Tactical or 1 x Security
- 1 x Engineering or 1 x Operations
- 3 x Science
Outcome[edit | edit source]
(Failure): No solid data was retrieved. The shuttle's warp field was misaligned, causing to massive subspace interference that blocked the sensors from yielding conclusive results.
(Success): The mission was a complete success. Outstanding particle samples were retrieved, along with thorough surface charts and other sensor readings.
