The Alita Heavy Strike Wing Escort is a Vice Admiral (Tier 6) level Federation Escort Carrier. It contains one hangar bay capable of launching small crafts and also comes equipped with a [Console - Universal - Destabilized Tachyon Emitters].
Variants
Alita-class
The Tier 6 Alita-class Heavy Escort Carrier is based upon the highly successful Armitage-class design. This new heavy escort has been built from the ground up to most efficiently combat the Iconian threat.
Armitage-class
The Armitage class is a Heavy Escort Carrier. These vessels were designed to fit the original role meant for the Akira class: that of a small carrier-escort hybrid. Its appearance features low-slung, forward-swept pylons and long, tapered nacelles. Its saucer is built around a thick central spine that contains the deflector and elevates the bridge above the split hull. Its single, forward-facing hangar is equipped with a wing of Peregrine Fighters by default. A battery of cannon aperatures is concentrated in the nose, above and to the sides of the deflector dish. The Armitage is longer than even the Patrol Escort (though it has the same amount of crew). If made to use components from standard Heavy Escorts such as the Akira or Thunderchild its size will shrink to match. Torpedo and turret fire comes from the top-mounted launcher in the rear pylon.
Akira-class
Used as inspiration for the NX-01, the Akira class Heavy Escort closely resembles the Enterprise from the TV series Star Trek: Enterprise[1]. Ships of the class include the U.S.S. Kelvin and U.S.S. Thunderchild (NCC-63549).
Oslo-class
The Oslo class Heavy Escort is an upgraded and modified version of the earlier Norway class ship. It shares the same nacelle design as the Nova Class Science Vessel.
Zephyr-class
The Zephyr class Heavy Escort is an upgraded and modified version of the earlier Steamrunner class ship.
Thunderchild-class
The Thunderchild class Heavy Escort is a tribute to the U.S.S. Thunderchild (NCC-63549) which engaged the Borg in Sector 001. This class is unlocked by purchasing the Heavy Escort Refit for 1000 from the C-Store.
Performance
A single hangar bay allows the escort carrier flexibility to suit its current mission. Fighters can be equipped for additional DPS, shuttles for interception and debuffs against incoming enemies, shield repair drones for additional staying power, or Runabouts to lock down enemies.

This ship includes the [Console - Universal - Destabilized Tachyon Emitters], which is part of the Heavy Escort Modifications Set. The remaining consoles in the set are included on the Tier 3 Heavy Escort Refit and Tier 5 Heavy Escort Carrier.
The Heavy Escort Carrier (T6) comes with built-in abilities that cannot be ranked up, and abilities that are based on the craft loaded into the hangar bay.
- Launch Peregrine Fighters
- Carrier Command - Attack
- Carrier Command - Escort
- Carrier Command - Intercept
- Carrier Command - Recall
This ship can launch attack wings of Peregrine Fighters in its standard configuration, though other small crafts can be equipped to be launched. The carrier can also give commands to those craft to order them to attack or defend selected targets.

Equipment slots and seating
As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:

Hull strength
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (Expression error: Unexpected ( operator. for the Alita Heavy Strike Wing Escort), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
