Warp Shadows is a Singularity Core ability. It creates up to five (one per singularity charge) decoys of your ship. On use, your ship vanishes and reappears slightly displaced, along with the shadows. The shadows will try to mimic your movement, unless there's something in the way. A few seconds after use, the shadows vanish, and your ship cloaks, making it appear as though you were one of the shadows. The cloak is short, though it can be fired through, shields aren't deactivated and it is a good way to lead into an actual cloak by escaping from enemy targeting.

This ability may not be very useful versus other players, especially against science officers, who will immediately know that you've cloaked and scan the area. It is, however, quite useful in PvE, especially if you've got aggro; enemies will tend to focus on the shadows, as there will likely be more of them than of you.

A suggested strategy is, once you've been targeted, activate warp shadows, followed by the Romulan battle cloaking device, and fly around to the rear of the enemy ship. While they are focused on shooting the decoys (which also provides a distraction for your other team members in an STF), you decloak on their rear and open fire, heal, or use any other abilities you deem helpful in that situation.

You can also cloak, followed by using warp shadows, which, if at the first level, only creates one duplicate. This will make it appear as though you cloaked, then were forced out of cloak, which can fool enemies in PvP. An enemy may believe you've been destroyed, then turn to focus on other targets while you decloak and fire on them, after they've used their abilities and have them on cool down.
