Singularity Jump is a Singularity Core ability. When activated, it causes your ship to perform a 5 km warp jump in the direction your ship is facing (Briefly breaking target lock), leaving an effect similar to the science officer ability 'Gravity Well' behind-though the raw damage and pulling are weaker, the effect also reduces the Accuracy and Damage of those caught in it. The jump is always 5 km, regardless of the charge level, however, the damage dealt by the singularity, and its secondary effects, do change with the charge level. (Accuracy Debuff scales from -50 to -100, Damage Debuff scales from -37.6 to -56.5).

Compared with the other singularity abilities, this one is quite useful. If the ship you are flying has a fast turn rate, you can easily jump behind an enemy, turn, and hit them in their rear, while making it difficult for them to fly away or turn and face you. It can also be used as a quick escape from heavy torpedos, fighters, destroyed ships about to explode, or from Tholian webs. Keep in mind when using ships with a slow turn rate that if you jump to the opposite side of a more agile craft, unless you have a great deal of rear weaponry, you may find yourself outmaneuvered. It is also recommended to use the Tactical Team ability, as flying directly at an enemy will have you shifting most of your shield power to the front, and if you jump past them, it may leave your rear open to a barrage from torpedos or concentrated cannon fire.

  • Game Description: Fold subspace to teleport 5km forward and leave behind a Singularity at your original location. You will become untargetable for a brief period of time. This Singularity will pull enemies toward its center and cause minor Kinetic damage over time as well as dramatically reducing their damage, accuracy and perception. Activating this power will drain all your Singularity Levels. The potency of the repel, accuracy debuff and damage debuff will scale with your Singularity Level.
