Kinetic Magnet causes the enemy's hull to resonate, causing it to take greater damage from all kinetic sources. This resonance will also draw in all nearby mines and targetable torpedoes, regardless of their allegiance.


Basic Information[edit | edit source]

  • Profession: Intelligence
  • Locale: Space
  • Game Description: Resonate the targeted enemy's hull to increase the damage they receive from kinetic weaponry. While in effect, an energy signature override will also convince all nearby mines and targetable torpedoes to be drawn toward the affected foe, regardless of their Friend/Foe status. The effect will end prematurely if an excessive amoutn of kinetic damage is dealt to the target.

Rank II: Lt. Commander 45 sec
  • -25 Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating for 12 sec
  • While debuffed, all Mines and Targetable Torpedos within 5km of Foe:
    • Confused
    • Dragged toward affected Foe
  • Fragile: Effect ends prematurely after Foe takes 30,000 Kinetic Damage
Rank III: Commander 45 sec
  • -30 Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating for 15 sec
  • While debuffed, all Mines and Targetable Torpedos within 5km of Foe:
    • Confused
    • Dragged toward affected Foe
  • Fragile: Effect ends prematurely after Foe takes 40,000 Kinetic Damage
