Ability: Capacitance Transfer

Overview

The Capacitance Transfer activates shield capacitors and enhances energy weapons to leech shield energy from enemy vessels. It becomes available for use if all three parts of New Romulus Command Advanced Prototype Space Set are equipped.

• Game Description: Romulan and Reman shield capacitors are capable of withstanding the strain of a temporary overload which will harden them against incoming damage. During this overload period, all energy weapons are also enhanced to leech shield energy away from enemy vessels and channel it into this capacitors, granting the ship ongoing influx of energy that can be used to reinforce damaged shields. This firing mode cannot be active at the same time as Fire-at-Will or Beam Overload.
  
  The Shield Resistance, Shield Drain and Shield Heal of this ability all scale with Auxiliary Power. Drain Expertise will also benefit both the Shield Drain and Shield Heal.
