The Activate Drill Laser ability fires a beam at a chosen target for up to 1 minute, with the damage increasing over time. It is generated by the [Console - Universal - Mining Drill Laser Emitter], which is obtained with the Kelvin Timeline T'laru Intel Carrier Warbird.

Game Description: This specialized emitter is primarily used for boring into solid earthen material, for the purposes mineral extraction, but has been adapted for use as a weapon. Though the damage dealt by this mining drill is minimal at first, it will increase over time as it remains focused on a foe, and is capable to sustained fire for a full minute. The recharge time of this ability will scale with how long the beam was kept focused on a target.
