The dilithium mine on Zaria
Zaria is a broken planet in the Zaria System.

- Until 2409 it was only known to the Deferi to be a lifeless bunch of planetary rubble.
- In 2409 the Breen begin to mine the core for dilithium using Deferi slaves. After this operation is stopped, the Deferi start a joined mining operation with their allies.

Missions involved[ | ]
- “Out in the Cold”: The Breen have created a mining facility on the dilithium rich core of Zaria. They are hunting Deferi in nearby systems like VZA-4001 for their slave workforce. The player rescues the Deferi prisoners from the mine and defeats the commanding Thot Gran. As reward for this, the Deferi agree to share the dilithium with the player's faction.
- “Emancipation (Daily)”: The player returns to liberate additional Deferi from Breen enslavement as well as carrying out various acts to sabotage the mining operation.
