Joshua Jones[edit] Biography
Joshua Jones was a half Vulcan, half Human, born in 2372 on Earth. His mother was a Vulcan who was a instructor at the Vulcan Science Academy and his father was a Human, and he is a commander in Starfleet.
During the early years of Joshua's life, he was mainly raised by his mother on Vulcan, as his father was on duty most of the time during the year long war between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. Once the war was over, Joshua's mother was pleased to hear that his father wasn't injured in anyway during the war. Mainly because his father was stationed on board the U.S.S. Corona, whose mission was to mainly protect the core world of the Federation, and most of the conflict happened in the outer areas of Federation space, especially at Deep Space 9.
Later on the years, Joshua's family gained a new member, his mother gave birth to a second child named Fredrick Jones.
As Joshua grew up over the years, nothing interesting happened within his life, he did take a big interest in astronomy. But as he reached the age of 18 in 2390, he was encouraged by to join the Vulcan Science Academy and pursue a career in science. However Joshua wanted to follow his father's footstep in becoming a Starfleet officer, so Joshua had applied for a place in Starfleet Academy. In his trial, he proved a great knowledge and understanding in the tactical section and encouraged by his peers, he decided to apply for a tactical career instead. He was accepted soon after and began his career in Starfleet.
Joshua graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2398, slightly later than most as he wanted to take a more specialized course so he would widen his knowledge further.
Joshua's first posting was on board the U.S.S. Raven a Constitution Refit Class designed for short to mid range planetary ship. During the first year of his posting, nothing interesting happened within his career but soon later on the same year, the Khitomer Accord dissolved, and many knew that the tension with the Klingon Empire would soon rise again.

In 2410 after a few years of conflict with the Klingon Empire, Joshua had been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander for his quick and rational decisions which did save the life of his colleges many times and also for his bravery in the battlefield.
Soon after in 2411, he was promoted again to the rank of Commander, and serving on the U.S.S. Eagle, a Defiant Class who is posted on the Borg front to repel the Borg invasion.
Sometime in the late 2411, the U.S.S. Eagle was caught off guard by 3 Borg Spheres and with the ship damaged from an earlier battle, the ship was both under gunned and outnumbered. And soon quickly the ship had taken heavy damage and was in critical condition. The captain, as well as the helms officer was killed, Joshua had taken command of the ship and tried to fight off the Borg. The Eagle had managed to destroy one sphere but the ship had already exhausted all of its torpedoes and the phaser banks were already overloaded, and it was clear to Joshua that they would not survive this. However a small squadron of ships had arrived after detecting the distress signal of the ship and destroyed the remaining ships easily. The ship was towed back to Starbase 214 and the entire crew had medical treatment taken place there.
After one week, Joshua had fully recovered and he was notified with the unfortunate news that the ship could not be salvaged and had to be scrapped. Joshua was lost for word, and within a day later, he received a subspace communique from Admiral Quinn and his message was giving Joshua a field promotion to a Captain and was ordered to be shipped to the Beta Antares Shipyard, along with his remaining crew.
Once he had reached there, he received another message from the Admiral that he was to be commissioned a new ship, specifically to fight the Borg and on long period of time in deep space. Joshua sawed the his new ship docked by the shipyard, and the name of the ship was across the hull, U.S.S. Prometheus. The engineer told Joshua that the ship had been refitted a lot, and that massive improvements was made to the Multi-Vector Assault Mode (MVAM).
