T'varo Light Warbird Retrofit
The T'varo Light Warbird Retrofit is a Vice Admiral (Tier 5) level Warbird. This vessel is an upgraded version of the Warbirds used in the 23rd Century. Like the T'liss, the T'varo Light Warbird is fast, light, and maneuverable.
The T'varo Light Warbird Retrofit comes with a [Console - Universal - Plasma Destabilizer], which fires a Destabilized Plasma Torpedo, which will do extreme damage upon impact over a large area, as well as weakening the hull armour of affected enemies. It does not require a weapon slot.
Variants[edit | edit source]
T'varo class[edit | edit source]a design used during the 22nd Century. They are similar in design to the T'liss, but with sharper edges and a more dagger-like appearance.
Performance[edit | edit source]
The smallest and most agile of the current Warbirds, the T'varo Retrofit fills a niche somewhere between Escorts and Birds-of-Prey. Its natural Turn Rate of 18 is the highest of any current Romulan ship, and gives the player a huge amount of agility when facing even relatively fast ships. With 3 Tactical Consoles and a Commander Tactical Bridge Officer, the T'varo is every bit as well-suited to Cannon/Turret builds as its fellow Warbirds, though considerably more fragile.
However, the T'varo's distinguishing feature is its Enhanced Battle Cloak, similar to the B'rel Bird-of-Prey Retrofit. Allowing the ship to fire while cloaked, the EBC is a huge boost, essentially allowing the T'varo to compensate for its low durability. As such, the T'varo is ideally suited to being set up as a "Torpedo Boat", using all fore weapons slots for torpedo launchers, then firing while cloaked and swiftly moving to a new position to fire again (as your shields are down while cloaked, it is wise not to stay in one place). With different torpedo launchers (Quantum, Plasma and Hargh'peng are all excellent), the Plasma Destabilizer Console to give Plasma Torpedoes more punch and add-ons such as the Omega set, the T'varo Retrofit is outstanding at wearing foes down through torpedo DPS while remaining hidden from retaliation.

Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]
Romulan Warbirds come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style. Upgrades of the standard equipment is recommended.
Abilities[edit | edit source]
All Romulan Warbirds are equipped with an advanced version of the cloaking device. The T'varo Light Warbird Retrofit has an enhanced battle cloak that allows the use of mines and torpedoes while remaining cloaked, as well as most Bridge Officer and Captain abilities.
Singularity[edit | edit source]
Romulan Warbirds come with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
