The Septimus System is a system located in the Alpha Quadrant.
History[ | ]
During the Dominion War, Septimus III was the headquarters of the Cardassian Eleventh Order. The Klingon Empire landed fifteen divisions, wiping out the 500,000 men strong order. (DS9 - "Strange Bedfellows)
In 2389, Gul Madred, leader of the True Way, aquired the rights to several mineral rich planetoids and began building a large mining operation in the Septimus System.
In 2393, Madred contacts Lamat'Ukan of the Alpha Jem'Hadar. He agrees to send troops to protect the Gul's mines in the Septimus System to protect them from raiders. This begins the alliance between the Alpha Jem'Hadar and the True Way.
Notes[ | ]
- Although the Septimus System is mentioned in the Path to 2409, it is not part of the in-game sector space.
