Season Six: Under Siege

Season Six: Under Siege was released on July 12, 2012. It introduced a major expansion of end-game content with the Fleet Advancement System and several associated group missions.

Systems

• Fleet starbases: First holding type of the Fleet Advancement System
  • Tiers of the starbase and its three systems (Engineering: Industrial fabricator; Science: Communications array and transwarp gate; Military: Shipyards) upgraded by completing Starbase Projects requiring various resources, amongst them fleet marks
  • Players contributing resources earn fleet credits for which rewards, e.g., ships and items, can be obtained from the fleet store

• 37 new tier 5-variants of existing ships (21 FED, 16 KDF): More "Retrofits" (requiring fleet credits) and new "Fleet Retrofits" (requiring fleet credits and Fleet Ship Modules from the Cryptic Store):

Missions and Events

New currency, fleet marks, can be earned from the following missions:

• “No Win Scenario”
• “Colony Invasion”
• “Starbase Blockade”
• “Starbase Incursion”
• “Starbase Fleet Defense”
• “Fleet Alert”
• Tholian Incursion on Nukara Prime (fleet marks only rewarded during event)

During the new two-hours Fleet Marks Event all these missions reward bonus fleet marks.

Test Weekend

Season Six was first released on Tribble 23 May 2012. Cryptic held a Tribble Test Weekend from 6 to 9 July 2012 prior to the release of Season Six. Players who participated will receive a Fleet Tribble and Ang the Vicious duty officer as a reward.
