The Romulan Plasma Assault Minigun is a type of Ground Weapon.

Assault Minigun weapons have a secondary fire mode that unloads a barrage of short beams in a narrow cone that can be swept across multiple targets. Both Primary and Secondary attacks have a short spool-up time. Romulan Plasma ground weapons utilize new technology to combine the properties of Plasma and Disruptor weapons. They have a chance to apply a plasma damage over time effect and a chance to reduce the target's damage resistance.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

The Romulan Plasma Assault Minigun is obtained through the Romulan Reputation Store, which must be unlocked through the Reputation System. Once this weapon type is unlocked, players may purchase this weapon multiple times for Dilithium.

Obtaining Tier 1 reputation allows the purchase of Mk XI, and obtaining Tier III reputation allows the purchase of Mk XII.
