Qin Heavy Raptor
Variants[edit | edit source]
Qin class[edit | edit source]Andorian Kumari Escorts due to the design of the wings, as well as the forward hull being dwarfed by the forward command module.
Birok class[edit | edit source]
Performance[edit | edit source]
With its ability to mount Dual Cannons, 3 Tactical Bridge Officer stations (at Ensign, Lt Commander and Commander level), significant focus on weapon power and its cloaking ability, the Heavy Raptor has the most destructive potential of all ships in Klingon Defense Force.
Compared to Federation ships, the Qin is most similar to the Tactical Escort Retrofit. The Qin is the larger vessel, with a slightly stronger hull and a much higher crew complement, but has slightly weaker shields and Turn Rate in comparison.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- The class name "Qin" appears to be a misspelling of the tlhIngan Hol word "QIn", meaning "sharp end" (e.g. of a spear), defined in Klingon for the Galactic Traveler by Marc Okrand.
