Photon Torpedo Launchers are torpedo based weapons available for all faction starships. They have a 90° firing arc. Photon Torpedoes are used by most factions, including Starfleet and The Klingon Empire.

Photon Torpedo Launchers are usually equipped with most newly acquired ships from Starfleet and the Klingon Defense Force.

Photon Torpedo Launchers are available to players at any rank.

Modifiers

There are several factors that can affect weapon performance. These include modifier suffixes, weapon power, spent player skill points, consoles, and equipment set bonuses.

Modifier Suffix

Uncommon Photon Torpedo Launchers will have one modifier suffix, Rare will have two and Very Rare will have three. The same modifiers may appear multiple times (e.g. [Acc]x2, [Cap]x3, etc.).

• Borg: X% chance: X Radiation Damage vs Borg NPCs

	Ionized Gas Sensor	Upgrades your next torpedo attack. Seeks cloaked targets, drains engine power with a chance to disable the entire system. Only available for Starfleet.
	Nadeon Detonator	Upgrades your next torpedo target. Torpedo explodes in a large Photonic Shockwave. Only available for Starfleet.
	Rule 62 Multipurpose Combat Console	+11% Mine and Torpedo Damage.

[Photon Torpedo Launcher Standard Issue-S] The "S" is for "Shuttle", It has a normal 90° targeting arc, worth 270 and causing 2732 Kinetic Damage (420 DPS).
