The Peghqu' Heavy Destroyer is a Tier 5 (Lieutenant General) level Klingon Destroyer. It is similar to a Raptor, but it is much more versatile.
The Starfleet Corps of Engineers are not the only elite group working on new starships. An engineering team at the Empire Shipyards have designed a heavy ship with increased maneuverability that is nimble enough to outmaneuver a cruiser but strong enough to take a barrage from an escort. Only experienced ship commanders with the backing of the High Council will have the chance to fly this ship.
The Peghqu' Heavy Destroyer comes with a [Console - Universal - Dynamic Tactical System], which allows the ship to switch between Regenerative Mode and Tactical Mode.
This vessel is available as a Veteran Reward for having a Gold account for 1000 days, or by purchasing a lifetime subscription.

[edit] Performance
The Peghqu' class fills a unique role in the Klingon fleet as it is more sturdy than a bird-of-prey, more maneuverable than a cruiser, and as described above, more flexible than a raptor. The Battle Cloak gives it another huge advantage.
Consider equipping it with one of the available space equipment sets for additional bonuses and abilities to further enhance the ship's combat performance. Equip cannons, turrets, and torpedoes for escort-like performance.
With its Universal Lt. Commander and Ensign seating, it can be outfitted with more Tactical powers for additional damage, more Engineering powers for additional survivability, or more Science powers (such as Gravity Well I) for a small measure of crowd control abilities, depending on the role it needs to fill. Generally, the ship will feel undergunned without using the Lt. Commander slot on Tactical abilities and the Ensign slot on Science or Engineering abilities.
You don't need to do full hit-and-run tactics like a Bird-of-Prey but you'll want to keep it out of sustained fire, only using the Battle Cloak if necessary. Consider doing strafing runs, using engineering or science abilities to heal while you prepare for your next strike.
Also when up against crowds of ships or large targets, switch between Regenerative Mode to drain target shields and Tactical Mode to use the Disruptor Lotus based on the cooldowns currently running.
