The Ning'tao Bird-of-Prey comes with [Disruptor Quad Cannons [Dmg]x4], which are Disruptor cannons that deal extra damage and level with the player.
Variants[edit | edit source]
Ning'tao class[edit | edit source].
Norgh class[edit | edit source]QulDun Bird-of-Prey. However it features a much wider wing arc and an elongated bridge section. The ship features the traditional Bird-of-Prey feather pattern on the wings, reappearing after their absence on the QulDun.
Performance[edit | edit source]
As with most Refit vessels, the Ning'tao is an improvement on the standard Norgh Bird-of-Prey. An extra Science console and a Lieutenant Universal Bridge Officer in place of an Ensign Universal give it more options for players to set up their Bird-of-Prey. However, the Ning'tao's most interesting feature is its Quad Disruptor Cannons, giving it a significant firepower boost over the standard Norgh. When combined with other Dual Cannon forward weapon slots, this gives the Ning'tao exceptional Alpha Strike capability for a Tier 3 vessel.

Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]
Klingon starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
Abilities[edit | edit source]
Most Klingon vessels are equipped with a cloaking device. Birds-of-Prey are equipped with a battle cloak that can be activated whilst at Red Alert, giving the Ning'tao Bird-of-Prey a significant advantage.
