The Nausicaan Tegolar Sword is a traditional Nausicaan melee weapon. It consists of a hilt with an asymmetrical blade, whose upper edge is serrated.

Tegolar Swords can execute a variety of strikes when used in a combination series.

Melee weapons go straight through personal shields, directly attacking the target for 80% weapon damage.


Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Uncommon, Rare and Very Rare Nausicaan Tegolar Swords are obtainable as random drops in ground missions.

  • 12: Sword Spin (Expose Attack), Knockback
  • 21: Sword Backslash (Expose Attack), Extra Damage
  • 111,221: Sword Double Strike, Knockback
  • 112,222,212: Sword Cleave, Knockback
  • 121,122,211: Sword Spinning Jump, Disable

Modifiers[edit | edit source]

There are seven factors that can affect personal weapons. These are Modifier suffixes, spent Player Skill Points, Personal Equipment, and Equipment Sets.

Modifier Suffix[edit | edit source]

Uncommon Nausicaan Tegolar Swords will have one modifier suffix, Rare will have two, Very Rare will have three and Ultra Rare will have four. The same modifiers may appear multiple times (e.g. [Acc]x2, [Cap]x3, etc.).

  • The patch released on 23rd August 2012 increased shield penetration of all melee-based weapons from 50% to 80%, making them a more viable option.
