Mogai Heavy Warbird
- This article is about the playable ship. For the NPC vessel see Mogai Heavy Warbird (Mob).
This vessel was a powerful ship utilized by the Romulan Star Empire towards the end of the 24th Century. The Mogai has an average turn rate and impulse speed, but carries more weapons than the Dhelan and has significantly increased hull strength.
Variants[edit | edit source]
Mogai class[edit | edit source]
Made famous by its appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis, the Mogai strongly resembles a falcon or other Bird-of-Prey. It boasts a massive wingspan with feather patterns along their length, extremely pointed Warp nacelles and a "beak"-like command section.
Valdore class[edit | edit source]
A Refit of the Mogai class, the Valdore has a noticeably more curved and armoured appearance, with a less broad wingspan, a different feather pattern on the wings and more prominent Warp nacelles.
Performance[edit | edit source]
The Mogai has improved durability over the preceding Dhelan Warbird, with higher base Hull and Shield strength and a better Shield Modifier. It also boasts an extra Science console, better Bridge Officer seating for Tactical and Science, and an extra rear weapon slot. However, players must be careful; with only one Engineering Console the ship shares its predecessors' lack of durability. While the ship's surprising Science focus can make up for this, the ship is still best suited to using its Battle Cloak to gain an advantageous position before opening fire and overwhelming enemy ships.

Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
Abilities[edit | edit source]
Singularity[edit | edit source]
Romulan Warbirds come with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
