The Mirror Qin Heavy Raptor is a Brigadier General (Tier 5) level Klingon Raptor vessel. It features an Ensign Engineering station instead of the Ensign Tactical station on the Prime Universe Qin Heavy Raptor, but otherwise is statistically identical.

It is only available to KDF captains as a rare drop from the [Temporal Lock Box], although crates that contain the Mirror Qin Heavy Raptor can sometimes be found on the Exchange.

Qin class

The Qin class design is not as progressive compared to the other types. It loses its red nacelles, has smaller wings (in ratio to the size of the vessels) and the neck stem is much smaller due to an enlarged hull at the fore section. The overall structure is vaguely reminiscent of early Andorian Kumari Class vessels due to the wings structural design, as well as the forward hulls size being dwarfed by the forward command module. Regardless, it has a very strong Klingon flavor to its overall design.

Performance

With its ability to mount dual cannons, 2 tactical bridge officer stations, significant focus on weapon power and it's cloaking capability, Mirror Heavy Raptor has a destructive potential. Compared to the Qin Heavy Raptor it loses a tactical bridge officer, but the replacing engineering bridge officer is far more useful given that a 3rd ensign tactical ability is useless to an escort with a standard 'all cannon and turret' build.

Compared to Federation Starfleet ships, Heavy Raptors are most similar to Tactical Escort Retrofit. Heavy Raptors are larger vessels, with slightly stronger hulls and much more crew capacity, but they have slightly weaker shields and lower turn rate.
