The M.A.C.O. space set of three items is available through playing missions. Before , it was avaiable for tokens from vendors on . Since Season 7, it is obtainable through Omega Task Force reputation system.

There is also an Adapted M.A.C.O. set with slightly different specifications than those shown below. It is essentially the same as the set from pre- season 7.

Starfleet's cutting-edge impulse engines provide emergency thrusters and improved maneuverability. Their fine tuning enhances overall engine performance and in conjunction with the warp core they regulate an asynchronous warp field that improves for any vessel.

Note: The impulse trail changes color.

Note: M.A.C.O Impulse Engines come with an innate Driver Coil bonus; Mk X = +7.5, Mk XI = +8.1 and Mk XII = +8.8. With zero points allocated to the Driver Coil skill the speed experienced when using the Mk X engine is Transwarp 13.49. When using the Mk XI engine the speed experienced is 13.53 and for the MK XII engine the experienced speed is Transwarp 13.57. Having more points allocated to the Driver Coil skill will increase the sector speed of all M.A.C.O. Impulse Engines beyond Transwarp 14.
