Kar'Fi Battle Carrier

The Kar'Fi Battle Carrier comes with a [Console - Universal - Phase Shift Generator], which allows the ship to shift out of phase with normal space. This console can only be used on the Kar'Fi Battle Carrier.
Variants[edit | edit source]
Kar'Fi class[edit | edit source]Fek'Ihri stylings; therefore, it doesn't look much like normal Klingon designs. This class, unlike the others, was captured by the Klingon Defense Force during the conflict with the Fek'Ihri Horde.
Performance[edit | edit source]
Where the other Klingon Carrier, the Vo'Quv Carrier is arguably the Klingons' most Science-themed support ship with a good dose of Engineering-related Tanking, the Kar'Fi Battle Carrier focuses more on Tactical. Lt.Commander and Lieutenant Tactical Boffs, a fourth forward weapons slot and 3 Tactical consoles give the ship a fair amount of hitting power on its own, and the ship has an impressive Turn Rate for a Carrier (8).
However, it still lags behind Klingon Battle Cruisers in maneuverability and lack of Cloak. Additionally, it has lower hull strength and less crew than the Vo'Quv; with only 2 Engineering consoles the ship is far more susceptible to damage than other Carriers. With Commander and Ensign Science slots, the ship can also do a good job at support abilities. Finally, it houses two hangar bays. Each hanger bay is able to launch 6 Fek'Ihri Fighters or 2 Fek'Ihri Frigates at a time.

The Kar'Fi Battle Carrier comes with built-in abilities that cannot be ranked up, and abilities that are based on the craft loaded into the two hangar bays.

- Carrier Command - Recall
This ship can launch attack wings of S'kul Fighters in its standard configuration, though other craft can be equipped to be launched. The carrier can also give commands to those craft to order them to attack or defend selected targets.
