Kamarag class[edit | edit source]Vor'cha Battle Cruiser.
Now that the Klingon Empire and its allies are looking for new ships, a team at the Ty'Gokor shipyards has revisited the Kamarag class. Its power problems were easily solved by modern EPS systems, and the Kamarag was reimagined as a mid-sized vessel that can be tougher than a Bird-of-Prey but more maneuverable than a Battle Cruiser.
Performance[edit | edit source]
The Kamarag is, at first glance, an odd ship. Atypically for a Klingon Battle Cruiser, the ship has only 1 Tactical Console, but 3 Engineering Consoles, compared to a balanced 2 and 2 for the equivalent K't'inga Battle Cruiser. With a Lieutenant Engineering in place of an Ensign, but only an Ensign Science when compared to the K't'inga's Lieutenant, the Kamarag is ideally suited for offering newer players their first real taste of tanking, as at this Tier it can absorb a lot of punishment before it dies. However, the ship's limited Tactical and Science abilities mean it should be used carefully, and in support roles where possible.
