The K't'inga Battle Cruiser is a Commander (Tier 3) level Klingon Battle Cruiser vessel. Its lineage can be traced back to the D7 class encountered by Starfleet in the 23rd century.

[edit] K't'inga class (D7)
The K't'inga class class is a prime example of the classic Klingon cruiser design, having its warp nacelles on fixed pylons with a feather pattern, and a large spheroid forward section on a long neck. The K't'inga class was first introduced in the early 2270s, but despite the vessel's age it's popularity among officers of the Klingon Defense Force remains strong.[edit] K't'inga class (refit)
The aging K't'inga class was refitted near the turn of the 25th century, updating a classic design to more modern requirements. It features a standard Klingon design with fixed wings that lead to the nacelles at the aft section of the ship, a neck stem connected to the main hull and the bridge located towards the front. The default design that players will get when they acquire the ship is that of the refit model. They can change it once for free at a ship customization officer although subsequent changes will cost Energy Credits.[edit] Performance
The K't'inga Battle Cruiser is a remarkably large starship for its tier. It is the first vessel of either the Federation or the Klingon Empire factions that has four forward weapon slots (which can hold cannons). In comparison to the Federation Cruiser at this Tier (the Heavy Cruiser) is has better a turn rate, 300 additional crew, and comes equipped with a cloaking device. It does, however, have a weaker hull by 2,000 hit points, and due to its 4 forward weapon slots it only has 2 slots aft.

Most Klingon vessels are equipped with a cloaking device. This can only be activated while not at Red Alert, but gives a 15% damage bonus when decloaking.
