Jem'Hadar Attack Ship
- This page is about the playable ship. For the NPC ship, please see Jem'Hadar Attack Ship (Mob).
Obtaining[edit | edit source]
These ships were originally available from purchasing the Winter Package from the C-Store during the period from December 8, 2011 - January 9, 2012. The Winter Package could be opened for one of a variety of items, including the ultra-rare possibility of a Jem'Hadar Attack Ship. It includes a unique Jem'Hadar bridge.
Since then, it has been available through other means for limited times.

Overview[edit | edit source]
The Jem'Hadar Attack Ship is a tier 5 playable starship, similar to an Escort or Destroyer. The staple ship of the Dominion fleet, these ships were used with deadly effect during the Dominion War. Small, fast and maneuverable, the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship packs a punch that is larger than expected for a ship of its size.
Origin[edit | edit source]
Recently a handful of these vessels have been found adrift and abandoned in the Alpha Quadrant and both Starfleet and the Klingon Defense Force have been scrambling to acquire as many of these derelicts as possible for study. The ships are always found undamaged, but with all systems offline and registering unusually high neutrino signatures. The ships are models commonly seen in the late 24th century, but all appear to be in prime condition.
The Dominion has not expressed any interest in retrieving these ships, and has not responded to subspace messages sent from Qo'noS or Deep Space Nine. For now, the appearance of the Jem'Hadar Attack Ships remains a mystery.
Performance[edit | edit source]
With a hull strength comparable to hull strength of Cruisers (though sacrificing a Cruiser's Science abilities for more Engineering options) the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship is a powerful, maneuverable and durable Escort-type vessel. With five Tactical consoles the ship is capable of putting out as much firepower as a Fleet Tactical Escort Retrofit while still being able to take more damage than a Fleet Patrol Escort. The ship's turn rate is comparable to that of a Klingon Bird-of-Prey or Risian Corvette, allowing the ship to outmaneuver nearly all comparable Escorts. Its flexibility is further expanded upon with the inclusion of two Universal Lieutenant Bridge Officer seats, allowing players to tailor the ship to their play style.
The Jem'Hadar Attack Ship is still one of the most sought after ships in the game, mainly because it is no longer available and is required to purchase the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship hangar pets for the Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier, but also because of its sheer resilience and domination in PvP when set up properly. It has also been referred to as the "bug" ship due to its beetle-like appearance.
