A frequency remodulator quickly cycles your energy weapons through variable wave or particle frequencies, in order to help overcome Borg adaptation.

Your bridge officers must have their own frequency remodulators in order to remodulate their weapons.

Notes

Borg adapt to a specific energy on a per character basis and you can get at least 4 shots -- notice that some weapons fire many shots at once (such as the primary mode of the assault minigun) and that each of these smaller shots count the same as a single powerful shot from say, a sniper rifle or pulsewave assault. Although rare, it is possible that a weapon may use multiple energy types (such as the [Synchronic Proton Distortion Prototype Assault Rifle] that has an antiproton primary and proton secondary attack).
