Fleet Star Cruiser
The Star Cruiser is the most advanced cruiser in Starfleet. It has the largest crew complement of ships at this level which can improve hull repair rates and some bridge officer abilities. The Star Cruiser is larger than most Federation Cruisers. They are considered the flagship of fleets or support for advanced missions. These stout ships sport massive warp cores, which generate surplus power for subsystems.
Variants[edit | edit source]
Nomad class[edit | edit source]Luna class and Envoy class nacelle designs. In contrast to other designs, the ship's torpedo launchers are located to the side of the saucer and hull sections instead of pointing directly ahead and behind.
The Nomad class was an extra add-on available through the C-Store for 440 Zen. As of Season 6, this variant is only available through the Fleet Star Cruiser. Those who already own the variant retain access through the standard Star Cruiser line.
Sentinel class[edit | edit source]Assault Cruiser. The nacelles have a pointed edge on both ends, with the Bussard collectors recessed to the side and pushed forward by the pylons. It has elevated fins that trace the hull and saucer section.
The Sentinel class was known as the Avenger class prior to the release of the Avenger Battle Cruiser.

Performance[edit | edit source]
The Fleet Star Cruiser is very formidable. While it will not match the damage dealing-abilities of the Fleet Assault Cruiser Refit, 4 Science and 4 Engineering consoles give it superb potential Tanking and Healing ability in both Shields and Hull, as well as giving it access to other Science abilities, such as team-Healing. Ensuring you take abilities like Shield Emitters and Field Generator Consoles/ Emitter Array Consoles/ Shield Emitter Amplifier Consoles in your Science slots in addition to traditional Engineering boons like Neutronium Consoles and the Structural Integrity skill makes the Fleet Star Cruiser into one of the best Tanks in the game - outperforming even the Fleet Exploration Cruiser Retrofit when properly equipped, though still not as good of a tank as the Tholian Recluse Carrier.
While it is not quite the equal of the Odyssey Science Cruiser or the Tholian Orb Weaver for players wanting a Science-themed Cruiser due to its low level Science Boff stations, it is still a very viable choice, especially as it surrenders nothing to the Fleet Assault Cruiser Refit in maneuverability or Turn Rate. Players should still choose the usual Cruiser weaponry (Beam Arrays, Turrets, etc) to make up for the ship's limited maneuverability.
