Fleet Star Cruiser
The Fleet Star Cruiser is an Admiral (Tier 5) level Federation Cruiser. Players can obtain the vessel through the Shipyard for 20,000
and 4
, as long as the player's Fleet has a Tier II shipyard.
The Star cruiser is the most advanced cruiser in Starfleet. It has the largest crew compliment of ships at this level which can improve hull repair and some bridge officer abilities. The Star Cruiser is usually larger than most Federation Cruisers. They are considered the flagship of fleets or support for advanced missions. These stout ships sport massive warp cores, which generate surplus power for subsystems.

[edit] Variants
[edit] Avenger class
The Avenger has a shorter, more round saucer with stylings reminiscent of the Sovereign Assault Cruiser. Its nacelles have a pointed edge on both ends with Bussard collectors recessed to the side and is pushed forward by upward pylons. It has elevated fins that trace the hull and saucer section.[edit] Vanguard class
The Vanguard has a longer and more carved out saucer than the Avenger and Emissary class variants. Its hull has various armored patches and is also slightly longer that the others. Its pylons are little taller than the Avenger's and pushes backward instead of forward. Its nacelles are only pointed at the end with more traditional, yet smaller Bussard collectors in the front. (Note: Due to an error in the interface of Star Trek Online, the Vanguard Class is labeled "Celestial" instead.)[edit] Emissary class
The Emissary class is as short as the Avenger class but its saucer section is considerably more pointed instead of round. Its pylons are pushed below the ship instead of above. The nacelles are completely barrel shaped with recessed Bussard collectors and a field grille that protrudes in an oval like pattern across the housing making the back end of the nacelle look slightly disjointed. (The Emissary Class Star Cruiser was named by fans through a competition on the Star Trek Online official website.)[edit] Nomad class
The Nomad class is a variant of the Emissary class. It's more armored than the other variants and its saucer section is much wider. The Hull section is a bit shorter. But its shorter body is emphasized by the placement of nacelle pylons which is further forward and very similar to the Luna class. Nacelles have a resemblance to the Luna class and Envoy class nacelle design. In contrast to the usual designs, Torpedo launchers are located to the side of the Saucer and hull sections instead of pointing directly ahead and behind. Nomad was an extra add-on available through the C-Store for 440 Zen. As of Season 6, this variant is only available through the Fleet Star Cruiser. Those who already own the variant retain access through the standard Star Cruiser line.[edit] Performance
