[edit] Cheyenne class
One of only three canon starship designs to feature four nacelles. Cheyenne class ships fought in the Battle of Wolf 359 and the appearance in TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II" remains the only time that this design has been seen on screen.[edit] Dakota class
The Dakota class is described as a day-to-day workhorse, taking on many types of operations for Starfleet. The design is an off-shoot of the Cheyenne class and sports a much narrower saucer section.[edit] Stargazer class
The Stargazer class was named in honor of the original Constellation class USS Stargazer (NCC-2893). This class design was put into production after the Dominion War to replace lost ships during that time. The design is similar to the Dakota class, but has a much more modern hull and nacelles.[edit] Performance
