A Hybrid Bridge Officer, is a Bridge officer that has been Trained in a Specialization. Once they have been Trained, they will gain the ability to use Specialization Abilities on ground or Space.
Some Special Ships include Hybrid Bridge Officer Seats. These Special Seats are Required in order for a Boff to use Specialty Abilities in Space. Exceptions being universal Abilities from Lock boxes, or Episodes.
