Plasma-Disruptor Hybrid Dual Heavy Cannons are a unique hybrid set of Dual Heavy Cannons between the Plasma and Disruptor type energy weapons. They are only mountable in forward weapon slots.
This weapon has a chance of applying a 10% Damage Resistance Debuff on a target for 15 seconds, and can also apply a plasma DoT Debuff. They are also more accurate and deliver more damage than standard weapons. This weapon is obtained from the mission “Past Imperfect” for Federation players, while KDF players can obtain them from playing “Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning”, and Romulan players can obtain them from the mission “Smash and Grab”
There are several factors that can affect weapon performance. These include modifier suffixes, weapon power, spent player skill points, consoles, and equipment set bonuses.

Plasma-Disruptor Hybrid Dual Heavy Cannonss do not come with modifiers suffixes, as other weapons normally do, as they are already aitem.

- Although this is a hybrid Plasma-Disruptor weapon, a [Console - Tactical - Plasma Infuser] will not affect the damage delt. This is due to the fact that this weapon does Disruptor damage, and only includes the Plasma proc, while a Plasma Infuser boosts the Plasma energy type damage.
- Using a [Console - Tactical - Plasma Infuser] will affect the Plasma fire proc inflicted by this weapon, rather than the damage inflicted by the weapon itself.
