Draguas Support Vessel
- For the NPC vessel, see Draguas Support Vessel.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Gorn starship designers are pushing forward KDF technology with new vessels designed to support a team or fleet in combat.
The Draguas Support Vessel comes with a [Console - Universal - Aceton Assimilator], which drains nearby enemies' power systems and damages them with a radiation attack.
Variants[edit | edit source]
Draguas class[edit | edit source]Gorn Hegemony design, which was absorbed into the Klingon Defense Force. The ship's sleek lines stand in stark contrast to the rugged lines of Klingon vessels, and bears a passing resemblance to Orion Flight-Deck Cruisers. Interestingly, the ship is larger and significantly bulkier than its successor, the Varanus Support Vessel.
Admiralty Ship[edit | edit source]
|+8 SCI per EngShip or TacShip|
Abilities[edit | edit source]
Draguas Support Vessel can utilize the Aceton Assimilator universal console.
Subsystem Targeting[edit | edit source]
Klingon Science vessels come with built-in subsystem targeting abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships and must be gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Beam Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Beam Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Beam Target Engines Subsystems I
- Beam Target Shields Subsystems I
After activating a subsystem targeting ability, the player has 30 seconds to attack an enemy ship with any form of beam weapon. The attack will lower power to that system, and have a small chance of completely taking the system offline. If the system is taken offline it renders all abilities that use that subsystem temporarily inert. For example, if the player targets shields and subsequently takes them offline, then all of the enemies shield facings will go down.
Sensor Analysis[edit | edit source]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally.
When the player uses Sensor Analysis on a target, it produces an effect that stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must then hold sensor lock.
Standard Configuration[edit | edit source]
Klingon starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Like all other Gorn starship classes, the Draguas' designation is a reference to reptiles from Earth's fauna and/or mythology. The Draguas is a mythical dragon from Albanian mythology said to have four legs, two bat wings, a single horn on their head and large ears. They live in the forests and cannot be seen unless they want to be.
