The Cryptic Store (stylized in-game as 
STORE) is a micro-transaction store available to players in Star Trek Online to purchase items from and redeem special offers (such as pre-order rewards). The Cryptic Store requires Zen (which can be purchased at a rate of $1.00 USD for 100 or through the dilithium exchange at a floating rate) to be able to purchase anything.
Beginning June 5, 2013 the C-Store can only be accessed in-game:
- Press the button underneath the Mini-Map in the top right hand corner of the screen labelled " STORE".
- Select one of the Tabs on the left hand side to see the appropriate available items.
- Click "Buy" to purchase the item; or "Claim" if it's an unlocked item in the "Legacy Unlocks" tab.

Pre-Order and exclusive items can claimed through the C-Store. When the C-Store window is open click on the "Special Unlocks" tab and it will list the items you are entitled to receive. Items that are not highlighted are items that you already own on that character.
