The Plasmonic Leech enhances all of your energy weapons. Any energy weapon fired will now also drain the target of power and transfer that power back to you. Energy is stolen from all four subsystems.
This console can be obtained for Klingon Defense Force players by purchasing the Vandal Destroyer, a Tier 3 Nausicaan Destroyer. This console can also be obtained by Federation captains from the [Console Pack - Ionized Gas Sensor / Plasmonic Leech] from the [Tal Shiar Lock Box].
Game Description[edit | edit source]
This unique Console Mod enhances all your energy weapons so they drain power from your target and transfer that power to you. This ability does not need to be activated. It is passive and automatically updates all energy weapons.
The Naucasicaans are master pirates, and they have advanced their power drain technology originally developed for the Guramba, and converted it into something that had a little more general purpose.
This Console Mod can be equipped on any ship, in any console slot. You may only equip one of these mods on any single ship.

The drain you get per activation is:
Drain = 1 + (Flow Capacitors * 0.01)
The drain numbers are rounded up to one decimal place, but it seems they use at least two decimals when calculating the power drain

- The [Console - Universal - Plasmonic Leech] conflicts with the [M.A.C.O. Resilient Shield Array] from the M.A.C.O. space set. The Plasmonic Leech activates based on outgoing damage, while the M.A.C.O shield activates based on incoming damage. When one of these items triggers, it resets the buff from the other, effectively preventing either from building up energy levels.
