Assignment: Relocate Colonists
- Critical Success: 9%
- Success: 87%
- Disaster: 4%
"Relocate Colonists" is a Colonial assignment that can be found nearly everywhere in the galaxy. Its utility is not readily apparent, as it does the opposite of what most players will want to do with Colonists — it returns them to the safety of Federation space. In this sense, it is the precise opposite of “Resettle Colonists” — the assignment that produces Colonists for you to settle in the various Exploration Clusters.
Its value becomes easier-to-see if you critically succeed the assignment, whereupon you receive a generous 1500 dilithium and about 350 CXP in two disciplines: Recruitment and Colonial.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Federation: Relocate colonists to the Federation's expanding frontiers. Perhaps there they will finally be able to build lives for themselves.
Klingon: Deport colonists to the perimeter of the Empire. Perhaps by expanding the Empire's frontiers they can bring honor to their houses.
- These colonists will be permanently removed from your passenger space.
Variations[edit | edit source]
- Relocate ... Federation Borders
- Deport ... Imperial Perimeter

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Even with using a Colonist with one of the Critical Failure traits, the Success and Critical Success outcome percentages will add up to 100%. There appears to be no way to fail this mission.
