The Alhena System (Gamma Geminorum) is a system located in the Donatu Sector of the Eta Eridani Sector Block.

System description

Alhena (Gamma Geminorum) is a trinary blue star system on the edge of Klingon space. It is also the site of Federation military development. Due to its proximity to Boreth, it is considered an important strategic site by the Klingon Empire.

Missions Involved

• “Defense Contract”: A deuterium refueling station with a contract to supply your government is under attack by True Way forces.
• “Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning”: Klingon players have to report to the Alhena system and battle a Federation task force that is trying to capture a starbase there.

Meaning "the brand" (on the neck of the camel), "Alhena" is the traditional Arabic name for the real star Gamma Geminorum ~109 lightyears from Earth.
